May I pay with my debit card?
Debit cards are treated the same as credit cards. Your debit card will be authorized for total room and tax, plus $50 for incidentals. This action will hold the funds in your checking account until the transaction is processed by your bank within 3 to 5 business days after departure.

When is check in/out?
Check in time is 4 p.m. Check out time is noon.

Are there personal appliances in the rooms?
Each room is outfitted with an iron, ironing board, and hair dryer.

Can I make coffee in my room?
With the exception of Tower Club rooms, there are no coffee makers in the rooms. However, coffee is available in the lobby from 4:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. before Cornucopia opens. There is also 24-hour room service. Coffeemakers may be rented for $15.00 per stay.

How much are phone calls?
Local phone calls are $1.00 for the first hour; 0.15 per minute thereafter. There's no charge for toll-free calls.

Do you allow pets?
No pets are allowed in the hotel. We do, however, allow certified service animals who assist disabled guests.

What is your smoking policy?
Guests are allowed to smoke in smoking rooms only and in designated areas within the hotel. Violations will be documented and a $250 fee will be added to your room bill for violation of this policy.

Does the hotel have quiet hours?
Yes, quiet hours are observed on all guest room floors
from 12 a.m until 7 a.m.

Can you accommodate wheelchairs?
Yes, we offer barrier-free rooms.

Can I get a rollaway?
Rollaways are available for $15 per night. Max: 1 per standard room and 2 per suite.

Can I get a refrigerator in my room if I'm not in the Tower Club?
The hotel has a limited number of refrigerators available. Refrigerators are available for a one-time charge of $15.

How much is parking for registered hotel guests?
$16 per night for self-parking
$25 per night for valet parking
(Both allow 24-hour in-and-out access)

Are both valet and self-parking available?
Valet and self-parking are available to overnight guests. Valet parking is located in the motor lobby off of the Pearl Street entrance. Self-parking is available in the Amway Grand Parking Ramp. The Amway Grand Parking Ramp entrance is located on Pearl Street across from the motor lobby.

Where is the motor lobby/main hotel entrance located?
If heading south on Monroe Street, make a right onto Pearl Street to locate valet and self-parking. If headed north on Monroe Street, make a left onto Pearl Street to locate valet and self-parking

Is parking for oversized vehicles available?
Yes, oversized vehicle parking is available. Please proceed to the motor lobby for directions to our oversized lot.

Are shuttle services available?
Air Porter shuttle services are available 7 days a week, excluding holidays. Service begins April 1st, 2008 and shall continue through October 31st, 2008. The first shuttle starts downtown at 8:30 am, and the last shuttle departs the airport for downtown at 7:30 pm. Visit grandrapidsairporter.com for additional information.

What if I need a rental car?
Hertz Rent-A-Car is on property and open Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Can I earn air miles for my stay?
The hotel participates in the Preferred Hotels and Resorts Worldwide's United Airlines Mileage Plus and Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan.

What are the Plaza Fitness Center hours?
Our newly renovated and expanded Plaza Fitness Center is located on the Glass Tower side of the hotel, on the fourth floor. It features an indoor swimming pool, hot tubs, sauna, full-service locker rooms, full cardio workout facilities, tennis courts, a racquetball court, dumbbells and weights. Unlimited use of the center is only $5 per day, per room for up to 4 guests.

Fitness center hours:
Monday - Friday: 6 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Saturday: 8 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Sunday: 8 a.m. - 9 p.m.

When is the Plaza Business Center open?
The Plaza Business Center is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. After those hours, you can contact the front desk for assistance with your business needs.

Where can I secure my valuables?
There are safety deposit boxes available at the front desk.

What special services do you offer?
In-room massages are available for $80 per hour ($100 after 9 p.m.) and flowers and gifts can be arranged prior to arrival through our concierge.
